The area of coverage can be extended by half again with the purchase of an additional transmitter. Keep in mind that the additional transmitter requires an electrical outlet and must be kept out of the weather. This is usually accomplished by plugging one transmitter at each end of the house, or the additional transmitter could be housed in a large plastic container or wooden structure such as a mailbox.
